TERMS & CONDITIONS       Elton Car Rental – VAT No: M21230506T

By signing the rental agreement, the Renter agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1.  Driver & License Requirements

  • The Renter and any additional drivers must hold a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months.

  • Minimum driver age is 21 years; certain vehicles may require a higher minimum

  • Only drivers listed on the rental agreement are permitted to operate the

2.  Vehicle Condition & Return

  • The vehicle is delivered in clean condition, with all required documents, tools, and

  • The Renter must return the vehicle in the same condition, on the agreed date and time, at the designated return location.

  • Additional cleaning fees may apply if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty, with smoke odor, pet hair, or stains.

3.  Fuel Policy

  • The vehicle is supplied with a full tank of fuel and must be returned

  • Missing fuel will be charged at the current rate plus a service

4.  Use Restrictions

  • The vehicle must not be used:

  • Off-road or on unpaved

  • For racing, towing, or illegal activities

  • By anyone under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other substance

  • Travel outside Albania requires prior written

5.  Insurance & Coverage

  • Basic Third-Party Liability is included as required by

  • Optional Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Full Coverage are available for

Full Coverage includes all damages to the rental vehicle except the following:

  • Damage to the underbody

  • Damage to the interior unless caused by a covered incident

  • Loss of keys

  • Damage resulting from negligence or breach of this contract

6.  Damage, Theft & Accidents

  • In the event of damage or theft, the Renter must immediately notify the Rental

  • A police report is required for insurance claims, except for minor parking damages where obtaining a report is not possible — in such cases, the Renter must still inform the company

  • Unreported incidents will result in full liability for repair

7.  Breakdowns & Repairs

  • In case of mechanical breakdown, contact the Rental Company

  • Repairs may only be carried out with written approval from the Rental

8.  Traffic Violations & Fines

  • The Renter is responsible for all traffic fines, tolls, and penalties incurred during the rental

  • The Rental Company reserves the right to charge the Renter for any fines received after the rental period, including administrative fees.

9.  Deposit & Charges

  • A refundable security deposit is required before the start of the rental, unless the Rental Company has explicitly approved the rental without a deposit.

  • The deposit will be refunded after the vehicle is returned and inspected, less any charges for damage, fuel, or other costs.

10.  Early Return & Extension

  • No refund will be given for early return

  • Extensions must be approved in writing before the original return

11.  Termination of Agreement

  • The Rental Company may terminate this agreement without notice if the Renter breaches any terms, misuses the vehicle, or provides false information.

12.  Jurisdiction

  • This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania

  • Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Albania
