Terms & Conditions

1. General

Welcome to Sleid Rental. We aim to provide a smooth, flexible, and reliable rental experience. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

2. Driver Requirements

• Minimum age: 23 years
• Minimum driving experience: at least 2 years (valid licence held for 2+ years) on most vehicles
• Some vehicle categories require a minimum of 3 years driving experience — please check with us at the time of booking
• Valid ID or passport required at pickup

3. Payment

• The full rental amount is paid at the start of the rental
• No deposit required
• No credit card required
• Accepted payment methods: Cash, Bank Transfer, or other agreed options

4. Insurance Options

Standard Coverage (Included)

All vehicles include basic insurance (Third-Party Liability) as required by law. This covers damage or injury caused to other people, vehicles, or property.

Full Insurance (Optional Upgrade)

Full insurance is available as an extra and covers:

• Accidental damage to the rental vehicle
• Scratches, dents, and collisions
• Theft or vandalism
• Zero excess — no out-of-pocket costs in the event of a claim
• Zero liability — the renter bears no financial responsibility for damage to the vehicle

Exclusions (apply to all insurance types):

• Underbody damage caused by off-road driving or improper use
• Driving on severely damaged roads or unsuitable terrain
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Use by unauthorized drivers

5. Use of Vehicle

• Vehicles may be driven on paved roads and unpaved roads that are in good and safe condition
• Off-road driving is strictly prohibited
• Roads that are heavily damaged, unsafe, or not suitable for normal vehicles must be avoided
• The vehicle must not be used for racing, towing, or illegal activities
• Only authorized drivers listed in the agreement may drive the vehicle

6. Fuel Policy

• The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as received
• Missing fuel will be charged accordingly

7. Vehicle Condition

• The vehicle is provided clean and in good working condition
• Any existing damage will be documented before handover
• The vehicle should be returned in the same condition, excluding normal wear or insured damage

8. Assistance & Support

• Roadside assistance is available
• In case of breakdown or issue, please contact us immediately
• Unauthorized repairs are not permitted

9. Accidents & Damage

• Any damage or incident must be reported to us as soon as possible
• For minor damage such as scratches or small dents, simply notify us — no police report is needed
• A police report is required only in the case of a road accident involving other vehicles or parties
• Failure to report damage or accidents may result in loss of insurance coverage

10. Fines & Violations

• The renter is responsible for all traffic fines, parking tickets, and violations
• An administrative fee may apply for handling fines

11. Rental Period

• The vehicle must be returned on the agreed date and time
• Late returns may result in additional charges

12. Travel Outside Albania

• Cross-border travel is allowed only with prior approval
• Additional documentation or fees may apply

13. Termination

Sleid Rental reserves the right to terminate the rental if terms are not respected or the vehicle is misused.

14. Personal Belongings

Sleid Rental is not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle.

15. Applicable Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania.
